Crystals and Feng Shui

Feng Shui & GeomancyA word of warning; we will be talking earth energy, vortexes and crystal healing now; vital ingredients in a good garden design!
As mentioned last newsletter a number of quartz crystals have been buried

onsite in the form of a Fibonacci spiral by our Feng Shui practitioner and steering group member Lana Whittington. The crystals were kindly donated by the Crystal Castle ,thank you!Lana conducted a Feng Shui evaluation of the gardens site and a Flying Star Chart was drawn up with a supporting report. This is available for those who may be interested. The Shara Community Gardens site was also reviewed to take into account the naturally occurring geometry and geomancy that it contains. Geometry is the gardens’ boundary and the shape this makes and geomancy is the earths’ interference or support of this site. The aim is to support enhancement and negate any interference. The site is a triangle; an almost perfect Pythagorean triangle in fact. The geometry of this site was divided according to Fibonnacci mathematics to locate the vortex position of the site (which is also the position we selected for the rotunda placement as this is an ideal meeting place and energy centre of the site). This sequence was then enhanced and brought into connection with the earth’s grid by the location and placement of quartz (energy enhancing and fortifying) crystals. In other words, the use of the crystals just brings into affect what is already there (but possibly a little dormant) and this activated the overall garden site to contain the energy of the site and link in with the energy of our mother earth which will have the overall affect of boosting natural growth patterns and the health and resilience of our plants.

The image below shows a representation of the Fibonacci maths and positioning of the crystals.
